Recruiters and hiring managers from local business, science, computing and engineering companies will be on campus attending this major hiring event. ✨ And they are looking for talented students like YOU! ✨ Come prepared to meet with a variety of employers from business, science, computing, and engineering industries who are recruiting for internships and full-time positions. This is your best opportunity to network with several potential future employers in one place! Registration is encouraged but not required to attend the a career fair.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE CAREER FAIR?
- Undergraduate and graduate students studying business 📈, science🧪, computing 💻, or engineering
- Students pursuing a degree in the Bloch School of Management or School of Science & Engineering
- Current UMKC students and alumni looking to secure employment and internships in business, science, computing, or engineering industry
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR AN IN-PERSON CAREER FAIR?
✅ Schedule an appointment with Bloch Career Center (business students) or UMKC Career Services (non-business students) to review your resume & craft your elevator pitch.
✅ Complete your Handshake profile and upload your resume.
✅ Research participating employers and show your interest by following them on Handshake!
✅ Explore prep resources from UMKC Career Services and the Bloch Career Center.
CAREER FAIR PLUS (CF+) COMPANION APP
Will be working with our technology partner CF+ to provide an enhanced career fair experience for students. With CF+, you get advance access to employer profiles allowing you to conduct your research and mark your favorites. You’ll be able to optimize your time at the fair by digitally dropping your resume to employers and check in a booths with the scan of a QR code. Please download the CF+ app on the App Store or Google Play and create an account!
WHAT DO I WEAR TO AN IN-PERSON CAREER FAIR?
This is a formal hiring event and students are encouraged to dress professionally. Check out the UMKC Professional Wardrobe Studio and Dress for Success Kansas City for assistance with securing professional clothes. Professional attire is not required to attend this event. 👔
