We are looking for one hungry accounting/marketing person to learn and contribute to our small business across the spectrum. This would be a two-year paid entry job that would position you for grad school (MBA or similar) or for continued growth within our company.
Training and Duties would include:
1) Learning purchasing, receiving and the associated managerial bookkeeping. This involves learning our POS (Point of Sale) system which maintains our inventory and communicates inventory with our web sales system.
2) Marketing through traditional and social media channels- creativity and accountability are valued here- where should we spend our time and money and are we achieving any true effectiveness with our desired customer base?
3) Product and brand development and marketing: we are always developing a new or second generation style, product and brand. Get in involved in design, fabrication and procurement, and importing of product. It is challenging but the results are rewarding. This experience is valuable.
4) General sales and customer service and care: unlike many business these days, we are a high-touch high impact customer service business (that happens to also do online business). Or model is different than the nameless/faceless online experience.
