Responsible for working with Sales Executives to identify and acquiring new business opportunities within their assigned territory. Work with Sales Executives to support bid process and follow-up communication.
Provide product information, share sales ideas, gather marketing data, and assist with e-mail communication and the development of bids.
Handle incoming phone calls and requests for information, sales and marketing material, territory analysis and problem resolution in a professional and timely manner. Territory analysis could include but not limited to the evaluation of current penetration with various property managers, segments of the building maintenance industry or concentration within the region.
Support sales initiatives and focus to meet goals through call campaigns, email campaigns and in all communication.
Perform competitive analysis and maintain knowledge of the building maintenance industry.
Develop a detailed overview of local competition. Update data base as changes occur in the market.
Create and tailor sales ideas and presentations based on Sales Executives needs.
Work with leadership team on monthly reporting of sales and activities.
Maintain open communication with the Sales Executives, which includes reviewing the sales, opportunities, and summarizing activities that impact the territory.
Provide support to Sales Executives in preparation of RFP/RFI responses as well as formal bid presentations.
Schedule Sales Executive appointments with prospects as appropriate.
Maintain customer relationship management system (CRM).
Develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy with the Sales Executives.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Successful sales and/or sales support experience
- Demonstrated experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with CRM systems (MS CRM a plus)
- Experience with e-mail marketing (Emfluence a plus)
- Multi Media Background/Experience a plus
- Effective communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
