ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers
Successfully complete assigned intern project
Support co-workers while gaining knowledge of their essential job functions
Utilize knowledge gained to conduct day to day operations
Support the organization by updating brand elements throughout multiple divisions
Collect and analyze data to evaluate digital marketing and social media campaigns and make recommendations for improvement
Develop content for digital campaigns and social media
Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
Assist in marketing and communications promotional activities (e.g. social media, digital campaigns, direct mail and website)
Collaborate with marketing team members on various projects
Assist in providing sales support throughout the organization
Help organize marketing events
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Valid driver’s license, with acceptable driving record
Current enrollment in a post-secondary program
Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with project management and other online applications (e.g. Basecamp, website and social media analytics and Google analytics)
Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
Ability to occasionally lift heavy objects no more than 50 pounds
Ability to occasionally stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
Ability to frequently sit for extended periods of time
Ability to prioritize and deliver projects and results in a timely manner
Completion of 2 or more years of post-secondary education in an agriculture program
Familiar with agriculture industry preferred but no required
Previous internship in marketing
Portfolio of past projects/campaign work
