Entry Level Stock Loan Associate
Summary:
The Securities Lending desk is looking for a highly organized and analytical thinker who can quickly adapt to daily challenges and take on a variety of responsibilities at this desk. As an entry level Associate, you will have a key role on the Securities Lending team. The role will include international trade booking and monitoring, funding and house settlements. The individual will need to become FINRA licensed within the first 3 months which includes passing the SIE and Series 7 Exams.
Responsibilities:
- Learn the international booking system APEX, to book and monitor international trades
- Learn Smart Loan our domestic securities lending trading system
- Work closely with other team members to facilitate smooth processes and support the overall team goal.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal procedures related to the securities lending desk.
- Accurately input transaction details and maintain up-to-date records in the company trading systems.
- Monitor and manage collateral related to international stock loan trades to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Marketing preferred
- Proficiency in Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
