This position is responsible for managing all sales and sales-related activities within the assigned region and for achieving agreed sales targets. Activities shall include but are not limited to product promotions (including use of company demonstration equipment), presentations to Distributors, Architects, Engineers, Contractors and Owners, developing sales tools and project solutions.
An additional focus will be to manage Modine Unitary Brand Distributed Products Representatives and work with these firms to become familiar with the operations of these businesses in order to grow market share profitably. Yearly sales targets should be agreed with each Representative firm.
Serve as a Regional Manager for Modine Unitary Brand Distributed Products in a territory covering: New England, New York State, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia.
Only with the agreement of the Sales Manager Modine Unitary Brand Distributed products is the position permitted to hire or terminate independent sales representatives.
EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED
Minimum of an undergraduate college degree preferred and/or equivalent experience. Schooling and/or experience in business administration, marketing, engineering, sales, customer service and/or sales support. PC experience in spread sheets and word processing (Excel/Word). Must have good interpersonal skills, communication skills, problem solving/decision making and strategy formulation abilities. Must be a team player who can handle a wide range of activities, be productive, maintain high work quality, integrity and ethics and be adaptable/flexible to change. Seasoned experience of five to ten years.
